Who is Jesus? What did He do?

Jesus Christ, the Son of God is, " ...God come in the flesh." John 1:1,14

He came to this earth, lived a sinless life and died on the cross
to purchase a place in heaven for us.

"God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while
we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8

" ... The Lord has laid on Him the iniquity (sin) of us all." Isaiah 53:6

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that
whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." John 3:16

Jesus' life and death is the gift offered to simple man.

He died on the cross and rose from the dead, to pay the penalty for our sins
and purchase a place in heaven for us which he offers as a gift.
