When Jesus Came Inside
Oh, the devil made a liar out of me.
He made it oh so easy to deceive.
But when my Jesus came inside,
I knew the reason why I lied
And now I claim eternal victory!
Oh the devil took my sight away from me.
He had me oh so blind I could not see.
When Jesus came into my heart,
He gave to me a brand new start
He opened up my eyes and set me free!
Oh, the devil made a sinner out of me.
It wasn't my desire don't you see?
But with my Jesus deep inside,
And with His Spirit I can thrive.
Doing what He desires is for me!
Oh, the devil took my love away from me.
He wanted to see if I could still believe
But with Jesus living in my heart,
There is a love that will never part
'Cause I have His great love eternally.
So listen now you children of the Lord.
Shine up your armor, sharpen up your sword.
In battle every day we go
To fight for Jesus, don't you know?
Because we are His soldiers in this world.
